CMA CGM, CSCL, UASC loop re-orders Le Havre and Shekou exim roles

2013-05-29

CMA CGM, CSCL and UASC are to revise their joint Far East-Red Sea-Europe service (FAL 2/AEX 7/AEC 8) with the change of the Le Havre call from being a Europe import call to an export one, while Shenzhen-Shekou will become the first China import call instead of an export call.

But the service will continue to call at Jeddah in both directions, covering both the Europe-Red Sea and the Far East-Red Sea markets, Alphaliner reported.

The revised rotation is: Rotterdam, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Jeddah, Port Kelang, Shenzhen-Shekou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Port Kelang, Jeddah and Rotterdam. The new rotation will take effect with the sailing of CSCL Star from Ningbo on June 19 and the service will continue to turn in 10 weeks with 10 ships of 12,500-14,000 TEU.
