China’s Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding has bagged an order to build one dive support support (DSV) for Singapore’s Jumeirah Offshore.

The newbuilding contract comes with an option to build one additional unit. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The basic and part of the design of the DP3-capable DSV will be provided by Norway’s Skipsteknisk, while Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (Sdari) will complete the design of the ship.
