Ezra wins $70m of subsea work

Singapore offshore firm Ezra Holdings has bagged a $70m worth of subsea work in the Middle East and Asia.

Ezra’s subsea division EMAS AMC has been contracted, by an undisclosed national oil company in the Middle East, for work that starts in the second quarter of 2016 including the lift of nearly of 3,000 tonnes of offshore structures.

Ezra’s vessel the Lewek Constellation will be involved in the removal of existing spools, installation of new ones and connecting 16 inch flowlines to a new platform in the region.

Meanwhile in Asia EMAS AMC will be carrying out the installation of nearly 10 km of pipelines for another national oil company.

“I am delighted to end the year with these contract wins,” said Lionel Lee, Ezra group ceo and md. “We have a new client to do subsea construction work for in the Middle East, and it demonstrates the demand for Lewek Constellation globally.
