Shiptec China Returns in late October 2016

The 12th Shiptec China is ready to present a grand maritime exhibition and a series of conferences from October 25th to October 28th, 2016 at Dalian World Expo Center, Dalian, China. The exhibition, well backed with shipbuilding industry of Northeast Asia, is recognized as a renowned international maritime fair serving Chinese ship market and the process when China is building itself into a marine power.

In the year of 2016, Shiptec China gains official support from the sponsors including China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), China Shipowners’ Association (CSA) and Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (CSNAME). It is also supported by local industry associations like Liaoning Association of Shipbuilding Industry, Liaoning Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, Liaoning Institute of Navigation, Liaoning Shipowners’ Association, CCPIT Dalian Branch, Liaoning Association of Fishing Vessels, Fishing Machinery and Fishing Gear, Liaoning Association of Crew Service Industry and CCPIT Dalian Branch.

Shiptec China 2016 will feature shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore engineering, maritime technology, marine equipment, maritime services, ports & shipping, army-civilian integration technologies, fishing vessels & machinery etc. Despite of the hard times that shipbuilding industry if facing now, Shiptec China wins strong support from two giant groups of Chinese state-run shipyards, CSIC and CSSC, and leading yards like ZHENHUA, international class societies like CCS, ClassNK, DNV GL and RS and other major marine equipment suppliers including NORSAFE, HOYER, ASAC, DAIHATSU, ZOLLERN, CNC etc. Six international pavilions are forming up from countries of Korea, Japan, Denmark, Norway, Spain and Finland. A total of 450 exhibiting companies are expected to be present in this year’s exhibition. Meanwhile, high quality visitors will be attracted to Dalian at this biggest maritime event to source the latest maritime technology or equipment and most importantly to network with thousands of industry colleagues from all over the world.

Four senior forums will be held concurrently alongside the main exhibition under the same ceiling at the expo center on topics of offshore engineering, ocean & ship technology, shipping & ship finance and marine maintenance. High profile industry experts are being invited to share their thoughts on above topics to the audience here. Besides, technical seminars will also be hosted on new standards and upgrading for fishing vessels, LNG ships & tankers, chief engineers etc. Open lectures, maritime press salons, B2B meetings and yard visits will be organized during the exhibition days
