We kick-started June participating at NOR-SHIPPING Week, the largest maritime fair in Norway, where shipping professionals from allover the world interact while participating at the various conferences and events throughout the week. Dr. Sharma attended NOR-SHIPPING where he had the opportunity to address the audience at the Asian Belt Podium within the Exhibition Centre in the heart of Oslo and participate in a rather interesting debate with stakeholders on a roundtable discussion about sustainable ship-recycling and the challenges faced.

During NOR-SHIPPING Week, Dr. Sharma also participated as a speaker at the high profiled 19th Annual Norway Ship & Offshore Finance Forum, which was attended by several delegates from the Offshore sector. His presentation addressed the “Impact of Supply”, offering an executive update on the recycling of offshore assets (for more information, you can ask for a copy of his presentation here: pr@gmsinc.net ).

Thereafter, Dr. Sharma was invited at the 5th Annual Marine Money Forum in Geneva, where he joined a panel discussion with various esteemed ship-owners and directors to discuss old and new challenges in the supply and demand of vessels, regulatory issues, capital for shipping and increased ship recycling.
