2011年4月12日， “中船展”与“欧洲海事展”合作签约仪式在南京国际博览中心隆重举行，标志着中外两大展会在宁合作项目的全面启动。CIMPS-EUROPORT成为我国目前唯一由国内外两个大型船舶海事展主办方联合推动的展会项目，将成为我省、我国乃至全球船舶海事界的盛会。陈宝田、王志忠、季建业、李琦等省市领导出席并见证签约，江苏省商务厅厅长朱民在签约仪式上致辞。
自2012年起，“中船展”将由中荷双方长期紧密合作、继续使用“中船展”的名称、以“中船展”暨“欧洲海事展”（CIMPS-EUROPORT）的全新品牌和形象亮相、在南京联合举办“中国国际船舶工业博览会”，相信此次签约仪式将为江苏、为中国、甚至为全球的海事事业打开新的篇章！由中荷双方合作举办的2012“中国国际船舶工业博览会” （CIMPS-EUROPORT）将于2012年4月25-27日在南京举办！
荷方代表表示双方合作后的目标是在未来5年中，中船展成为亚洲海事界领先的集会地之一，并吸引来自世界各地的代表团与展商。力求将“CIMPS-Europort“中国国际船舶工业博览会”打造成为所有其他亚洲海事展的公平有力的竞争者。同时也希望江苏省和南京市通过举办“国国际船舶工业博览会”而获得更高的国际影响力和知名度。
合作签约仪式后举行了2012CIMPS - Europort媒体见面会，江苏电视台、南京电视台、新华日报、南京日报、第一财经等60多家媒体参加了此次见面会。根据组委会刚刚得到的最新消息，中国船舶工业集团公司已确认加入2012CIMPS-EUROPORT组织架构，作为2012中国国际船舶工业博览会协办单位，“中船展”国际影响力将进一步提高。2012CIMPS-EUROPORT将成为当年国内最具影响力和号召力的船舶海事展。
The Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between CIMPS and Europort Maritime & Media meeting session of 2012CIMPS-EUROPT has been successfully held in Nanjing
On April 12, 2011, the signing ceremony of cooperation between CIMPS and Europort Maritime was grandly held in Nanjing Exhibition Center, indicating the overall launch of the cooperation between these two grand fairs in Nanjing. The CIMPS-EUROPORT has becoming the sole marine exhibition project which is held by two large-scale shipping & Marine sponsors and a magnificent meeting not only inside Jiangsu province, but also in China and even in the world. The leaders from Jiangsu provincial government and Nanjing municipal government, Chen Baotian, Wang Zhizhong, Ji Jianye, Li Qi, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. The director of the Commerce Department of Jiangsu province also made a speech on the signing ceremony.
From 2012, the both sides from China and Holland will still use the name of “CIMPS”, and cooperate together closely in a long term. It is strongly believed that with the brand new trademark and image of CIMPS-EUROPORT, the signing ceremony will open a new chapter for Jiangsu, for China, even for the global maritime affairs. The 2012 CIMPS which is cooperated by China & Holland will be held between 25-27th, Apr. 2012.
The representative from Holland indicated that the objective of the both sides was that the CIMPS will be one of the leading exhibitions in terms of Asian marine affairs in 5 years and to attract the delegation and exhibitors from all over the world. It was also pointed that more endeavors will be made to CIMPS, and to be the competitor of all the other marine fairs in Asia. We also wish that Jiangsu and Nanjing will obtain more international influence and well-knowness through the holding of CIMPS.
The 2012 CIMPS-EUROPT media session was held after the signing ceremony. More than 60 media press, including Jiangsu broadcasting cooperation, Nanjing broadcasting cooperation, XIN HUA DAILY, Nanjing Daily, The First Finance attended the media session. According to the latest news from the organizing committee, the CSSC( China state shipbuilding cooperation) has confirmed to join the organization chart. As one of the co-organizers of the 2012 CIMPS, the international influence of the CIMPS will be strongly enhanced. The 2012 CIMPS-EUROPORT will become the most influential shipbuilding & marine fairs in 2012.
