1. the distances between the centre of the disc and the deck line is prescribed by the assigning authority and depends on several factors including the ship’s dimensions, structure, water tightness arrangements, type of cargo to be carried etc. the draft at the S line is the summer load draft.
2.The distance between W and S, between T and S and between F and TF is the same and is equal to 1/48th of summer load draft.
3.The distance between S and F is equal to the distance between T and TF and is the fresh water allowances for that ship.
