Siteam Anja’s Lightering Operation Starts

After two attempts to reach the stricken oil tanker Siteam Anja failed due to inclement weather, a smaller tanker has managed to reach the vessel and launch the lightering operation.

T&T Salvage Hired to Refloat Siteam Anja off Uruguay

The grounded 1997-built tanker Siteam Anja, which ran into trouble on May 17 off Lobos Island, Uruguay, is set to be refloated by the US-based salvage company T&T Salvage, according to the Uruguay Navy.
