Japan shipbuilders look to innovate their way out of slump
Japanese shipbuilders including Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and domestic leader Imabari Shipbuilding are joining forces to develop self-navigation systems and other technology that could help them escape damaging price competition with Asian rivals.
