10月22日，东方海外国际发布公告，宣布旗下东方海外货柜航运作为租船方(承租方)，与Seaspan Corporation旗下多间附属公司订立租船合约，以租赁共6艘该等船舶，租期为15年，自该等船舶各自的交付日期起计。
